Caperock is a star in recreating and animating the world around the bookcover of the books that you can listen to at audiobook platform Storytel.

I was thrilled to work on a couple of these covers myself. Did you know I painted the brushstrokes in the Licht Leven animation by hand? Before the paint dried we dragged the footage into After Effects to animate them in 3D-space.

I had so much fun working on these with my colleagues at Caperock and hope you can enjoy watching them as well!

I had so much fun making many infographics, datavisuals, motiongraphics and explainers for Nos op 3. In this gallery a small selection of my favourites.

Nos op 3 is mostly active on Instagram and Youtube and is part of Dutch public broadcaster NOS.

Caperock gave me the honor to animate the Serious Request logo.

I had this fun freelance job for the University of Amsterdam commissioned by Public Cinema to create storyboards and animation for explainers about social media influence on voters.

I am allround designer and content creator for Amnesty International NL.
I created the design package for the social content, and make explainers, motion graphics, animations, graphic design and social content.

Explanimation for MyMoriam an app created by LifeCourse. There is a Dutch version also for the Dutch app Levensdossier. Besides the animation I did graphic design and web maintenance.

Branding is so much more than a logo, it defines exactly what you and your company stands for. I am grateful to participate to this beautiful Zorg in de Tuin, a business set up by my sister who is committed to make the world more biodiverse and greener.

Cupbear Channel brings you commercials 24 hours a day!

Fascinated by (toy) commercials from the 90's and annoyed by commercials on tv I came up with the idea for Cupbear Channel. I wanted to make a channel that brings you commercials 24/7. But then more fun to watch.
Also I thought it would be a nice way to make several short animations in different styles.

Cupbear Channel is the project I graduated with at Utrecht School of the Arts (2012) But I'm planning to make more indie short animations for Cupbear Channel in the future just to keep on making my own favourite work. Stay tuned!

Introducing you Mundium League a superteam of superteachers with a mission to help, protect and teach the new generation.

This was the perfect opportunity for me to make something comic-book & pop-art.

The animation functions as a team building in house promotion video. Helping the team of Mundium College to discover their superpowers and combining them Captain Planet style.

These visuals were made on behalf of Jaaf Design. For the book ‘10 gezonde werkgewoontes’ (10 healthy working habits) by Rogier van Hoorn. I made more than 70 illustrations. The challenge was to visually support the content.

This is a reel of some scribbly animations I made for movie Radical Friends by Chihiro Geuzebroek. 

The animations depict the thoughts of protagonist Chi during the film.

Besides the animations I also made illustrations, a movie poster and a DVD cover for Radical Friends.

During my exchange in Japan at Kyushu University, Yushi Iwamoto, Mika Yamauchi and Orestis Constantinidis and I made this animation. It was an experiment to bring origami to life using stopmotion technique.

The story is about a boy who has a big deadline coming up for his thesis, and his anxious of failing it.

After more then a year I gladly present the result of a project that I have been working on with a lot of joy together with my friends in Japan!

I was motion designer in the team commissioned by NOS creating the design package for Eurosonic Noorderslag Festival.

Noorderslag takes place every year in De Oosterpoort in The Netherlands and features the best en most current Dutch acts. During Noorderslag the Popprijs is presented, this is an award for the artist with the biggest contribution to Dutch music in the year before.

I created the promo 'Ik geloof dat ik prijs heb QUIZ' in collaboration with VPRO Dorst for episode 'Het Welvaartsevangelie' by VPRO Tegenlicht.

Tegenlicht researches the story behind the Pentecostal church, what are the ideas, feelings, and tactics driving this fast growing religious movement?
